Job description
At Birds.ai, we turn visual inspections into Insights for customers to manage their assets and infrastructure in a sustainable way. To achieve that, we automatically analyze images of visual inspections to identify objects, anomalies, and defects using our in-house developed platform. We are looking for a Student Machine Learning Engineer to build software that does this fully automatically.
We are a small team and thus your work will have a huge impact on the technology we use and build to provide customers with valuable solutions! Some of the challenges we work on:
Counting the number of bottles on packaging lines.
Estimating the quality of steel flatness.
Predicting the lifetime of strawberries.
The Birds.ai team is at our office for at least two days in The Hague Tech (Den Haag). For this position you can expect a monthly gross remuneration of € 2.200 - € 2.500 based on full-time employment (40 hours).
Your Mission:
Use Machine Learning and Computer Vision to perform anomalies checks, generate functional statistics, monitor business processes in videos.
Build AI that can easily be scaled to different business cases (for example: energy, infrastructure, and agriculture).
Turn Artificial Intelligence into tools that will give proactive advice.
Job requirements
You...
- experience with a machine learning framework (e.g. Caffe, Torch, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
- have worked on at least one project related to computer vision/image processing.
- are an excellent project planner: you can take a long-term goal and break it up into achievable steps.
- have an enterprising mindset and can solve challenges independently.
- have developed and deployed trained Artificial Intelligence models (show or tell us what you did!).
- have worked with a team (you know Scrum and can't live without version control).
- have a working permit in the EU/Netherlands.
